The kitchen above was 30 years old when we started working on it, and our client wanted us to come up with a design that wouldn’t empty his bank. To accommodate this, we started our design-build process immediately, getting the customer involved from the first minute. We priced out two different cabinet lines with our client, a stock line and a semi-custom line. He decided to go with the semi-custom cabinetry through Bishop, and we used a cherry-look stain on maple wood to get the beautiful finish you see here. We installed a Schluter underlayment, then used ceramic on the floor, and put a matching 4×4 ceramic mosaic on the backsplash to tie the kitchen together. The granite countertops were supplied by the owner’s brother-in-law and looked gorgeous with the cabinetry. Altogether, this remodeling project took us 30 days to complete, and our customer was delighted with the results, as he let us know in his review:
